Hi, I am Monika. Planning a surprise proposal is exciting, but it can also feel like a lot to organise. I am here to help with the ideas, questions and little details, so you can enjoy the build up and feel confident when the moment arrives.
We can chat by email, message or video call, whatever is easiest. I will help you choose a location and timing, make a clear plan for the day and be there to photograph everything as it naturally unfolds. I have photographed hundreds of sessions and have more than 100 five star Google reviews, so you are in safe hands.
I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne and photograph proposals across the North East, including Durham, Alnwick, Bamburgh and the Northumberland coast. I also travel to Edinburgh and beyond.

The best proposal location is one that feels meaningful to you. It could be a favourite walk, a wild beach, a city view or somewhere connected to your story. If you are not sure where to begin, I can recommend places with beautiful light, atmosphere and enough privacy for the moment to feel intimate.

We will watch the forecast together and can adjust the time, choose a more sheltered spot or reschedule if needed. A little British weather can also be beautiful. Drizzle, wind and dramatic skies can make photographs feel wonderfully romantic and atmospheric.
We will agree exactly where I will wait and how you will approach the location. I arrive early and position myself carefully so your partner will not suspect a thing. We will exchange recent photographs, and we can have a video call beforehand so recognising each other is easy.

You receive a small collection of sneak peeks within 48 hours, ready to celebrate and share. Your private online gallery of 50+ beautifully edited, high resolution photographs will be ready within 3 weeks.
Everything happens at your pace, with no rush. Most proposals take around an hour, but some are shorter and some naturally take longer. We finish when it feels right for you, with up to two hours available for the proposal and relaxed portraits afterwards.
Absolutely. We can plan everything remotely by email, WhatsApp or video call. I help with the location, timing and details before you arrive in the UK. I regularly work with couples travelling from around the world, so you are in safe hands.
